Using Vow
Vow is a focus timer. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Coins
Coins are a virtual item purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system or granted free by the app. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and are never paid out. Purchased coins never expire. Coins are consumed only when you stake them on a session you explicitly confirm; the rules that deduct coins are shown before each session. Vow is not a game of chance and offers no prizes.
Refunds inside the app
The app grants one automatic refund of a lost session per week, and always refunds sessions lost because the app crashed. Refunds of purchases themselves are handled by Apple under its policies.
Fair use of the detection
The app uses signals iOS provides (focus, background, lock state, calls, motion) to detect distractions. These signals are not perfect; the in-app refund exists for that reason. Do not rely on the app as a safety mechanism; ending a session is always possible.
No warranty
Vow is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law YozatApps is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the app, including coins lost during a session.
